Taking a Break From Recording to Play The Make-Out Room
We've been in the studio the last few weeks making some serious progress. We have the basic tracks for about 12 songs on tape. We're hoping all of them make it to our first full-length album. We're recording under the influence of Charles Gonzales, whom you may have met at a couple of pretty recent shows Arcadio has played, and whom the members of the band have taken to endearingly nickname "Buff Chuck."
The album sounds great so far, but we still have a lot of work to do. If you know us, it's no surprise we're still working out the details of how to deal with all that other marketing-shmarketing stuff that gets in the way of getting the album out immediately.
Instead, we're focusing on what we do best: playing music. We're taking a break from the recording studio to play some old tunes (and maybe a few new ones too) at the Make-Out Room in San Francisco. We even managed to bring Buff Chuck with us to play as well. The Make-Out room is our favorite venue (so far) and it always seems to deliver on cheap but potent drinks. It'll be a great show and a great lead-up to our album, which we think will knock your socks off.
